‘Significant’ amount of guns stolen from Dunmore gun club

DUNMORE — Redcliff RCMP are investigating after a “significant” amount of firearms were stolen from a gun club in Dunmore.

Police were notified May 5 at about 7:16 a.m of a break-in at the operation.

RCMP say the building’s landlord had discovered a smashed door, and a number of restricted firearms had been stolen.

Meanwhile, a stolen vehicle used during the crime has been recovered, but police are hoping the public can provide information about it, in particular if you noticed the vehicle on May 5 in the area.
