Convoy organizer Lich to appear in court again on Tuesday for bail hearing

OTTAWA, ON– Medicine Hat woman Tamara Lich will have to wait until at least Tuesday to find out whether or not she will be granted bail.

Lich appeared in court Saturday charged with counseling to commit mischief in connection to the protests. She has been in custody since Thursday.

According to the Canadian Press, while in court, Lich said she wanted to return back to Alberta to be with her husband and kids. She testified that she would leave Ottawa by vehicle and remove herself from the movement. She also pledged a $5000 bond saying that is all she could afford, according to the Canadian Press

Another protest organizer, Pat King from Red Deer, AB, will also appear in court Tuesday. King faces charges of mischief, counselling to commit mischief, counselling to commit the offence of disobeying a court order and counselling to obstruct police.
