Update: RCMP Major Crimes Unit needs help identifying deceased woman found near Pincher Creek

PINCHER CREEK, AB. – **UPDATE – Police are seeking dashcam footage from motorists who travelled in the area of Hwy. 505 and Range Road 291A between the hours of 4 pm on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, and 8 am on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

Anyone who may have footage in that area for this time frame is asked to contact Pincher Creek RCMP at 403-627-6000.

Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is requesting the public’s help to identify a woman who was found deceased in a rural area south of Pincher Creek.

On Nov. 19, 2021, at 7:55 a.m., Pincher Creek emergency services responded to a report of a deceased person. Attempts to identify the woman are continuing.

She is believed to be Caucasian, approximately 5’5, 100 lbs, with a slim build, about 25-45 years of age, light brown hair that was dyed an orange or red colour.

The woman was wearing a beaded bracelet. The Alberta RCMP’s Major Crime Unit utilized an RCMP Forensic Facial Imaging Artist to complete a composite sketch of the woman, and a few of her distinctive tattoos.
