CMHA’s third annual golf tournament next month

MEDICINE HAT, AB – You can golf for mental health next month while supporting our region’s Canadian Mental Health Association.

The third annual charity tournament will take place at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club.

Taking August will perform, meals are provided, and there are prizes on the course including a vehicle for a hole in one.

You can sign up as a single or team.

CMHA executive director Sandra Milne says funds will support their various programs including their new youth suicide prevention educator.

CMHA workshops and courses are all being offered for free this year.

Milne says they’re also increasing the curriculum at the recovery college.

“If anybody has anything that they would like help with like body image and resiliency, they can get in touch with our recovery college educators and we can create curriculum for our region based on what people want to see,” she said.
