MEDICINE HAT — The Medicine Hat Public School Division is reporting 3 more positive results for COVID 19 in their school system.

In a midnight release, the MHPSD reported receiving confirmation from Alberta Health Services of two additional positive cases at Crescent Heights High School, and another positive individual at River Heights Elementary School.

In the case of River Heights, this is the second case identified there in recent weeks.

There are now three active cases at Crescent Heights High School following a case earlier this week.

Both schools have been placed On Alert.

In an email, the public school system says there’s been no discussion about closing schools, and both River Heights and Crescent Heights remain open.

The news from the public school division follows an earlier confirmation on Wednesday of a positive result at St. Mary’s School in the Medicine Hat Catholic school system.
