Maple Avenue bridge sidewalks open

Sidewalks on Finlay Bridge to be closed for two days

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Finlay Bridge pedestrians will have to find another route to cross the South Saskatchewan River later this week.

Both the east and west sidewalks will be closed for necessary repairs beginning Thursday. The closure will be in effect until 5 p.m. on Friday.

The sidewalk on the Maple Avenue Bridge will remain open.

The sidewalk closure is part of the bridge resurfacing work that began in June. That project is expected to be finished by the end of September, weather permitting.
