MEDICINE HAT — The Medicine Hat City Police Service has wrapped up the investigation into a fatal accident last week in Tower Estates.

Police have concluded that the driver of a vehicle that hit a 71 year old man had been blinded by the setting sun.

The report says neither speed, nor alcohol nor distracted driving contributed to the tragedy.

No charges will be laid as a result.

The 71 year old man was hit as he was riding on a motorized mobility chair on Anson Avenue S.W. on July 21.
