Polar Plunge cancelled due to risk posed from COVID-19

MEDICINE HAT — Special Olympics Alberta and the Law Enforcement Torch Run have decided to cancel tomorrow’s Polar Plunge fund raising event.

The decision was made in light of the ever-evolving infection risk from COVID 19.

Anyone with cash donations already collected can drop them off at the city police station, to the attention of Inspector Joe West.

This will ensure supporters receive a tax receipt.
