City of Medicine Hat dedicates COVID-19 info site

COVID-19 information specific to Medicine Hat now on city website

MEDICINE HAT — In line with recommendations from Alberta Health, the City of Medicine Hat has determined city-related events where 250 or more people are expected, will be cancelled for the next 30 days.

After that period, there will be a weekly evaluation of the following 30 day window.

All other City facilities, including recreational, arts, seniors facilities and related activities will proceed as usual at this time.

Increased preventative measures such as additional hand sanitizing stations and higher frequency cleaning schedules have been implemented.

The City of Medicine Hat says it continues to work with Alberta Health Services to monitor the situation and implement responsible decisions based on risk assessment.
