UPDATE: Brad Paisley concert postponed

Mar 12, 2020 | 2:43 PM

Brad Paisley’s highly anticipated concert that was scheduled for March 13th, has been postponed.

The news comes after the Alberta government asked that all large gatherings of more than 250 people be canceled in the province. The only things that are exempt from this being places of worship, airports, and shopping centers.

” It’s heartbreaking, but we have to postpone the Brad Paisley concert, this was our biggest concert to date. “

General Manager of the Canalta Centre, Tammy Sweeney, said “It’s heartbreaking, but we have to postpone the Brad Paisley concert, this was our biggest concert to date. ” Sweeney also said. “At this point we are working with tour management, to figure it all out, right now it’s postponed and we will update with further information as we get either a date or a final verdict.”

Paisley’s concert in Medicine Hat was the final Canadian stop on his tour.

Meantime, the city’s emergency management department says they are very much in a preparation stage right now.

And when they get into an emergency phase, that’s when they will enact the business continuity plan.

Their plan includes maintaining essential services like clean drinking water, fire services, police, as well as electric and gas services.

As for mass facility closures, the city says they are still keeping an eye on that.

This is such a fluid situation, constantly changing and updates will be provided when available.
