Med Hat Mall taking measures to prevent spread of COVID-19

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Mall is instituting a number of measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, according to a release by the company which owns the building.

As of now, the Medicine Hat Mall has suspended wheelchair and kiddie kruzzer rentals at guest services, the food court will not be using trays and no events will take place that will result in large gatherings, according to a release by Primaris.

Additionally, the mall’s contractors will be paying extra attention to cleaning all touch points within common areas of the mall as well as washrooms.

Signs are also posted reminding the public to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with hand sanitizer placed at the entrances to the mall and washrooms.
