BREAKING: Alberta reporting second presumptive case of COVID-19
EDMONTON – Less than 24 hours after the province announced its first presumptive case of COVID-19, Alberta’s medical officer of health has announced it’s second.
“This time in Edmonton in a man in his forties who recently returned from a trip to the United States,” said Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer, Friday afternoon. “We don’t have details on this person’s activities since they just returned from their trip but I’m sharing this information in order to be transparent and to meet our goal of sharing information with the public when we have it.”
Hinshaw added the man had been on a business trip to three US states; Michigan, Illinois and Ohio.
