Mavericks game in Okotoks postponed one week due to weather

OKOTOKS, AB – Mother Nature prevented The Medicine Hat Mavericks and Okotoks Dawgs from squaring off on Wednesday.

Following a large hail storm in Okotoks Wednesday evening, the game between the two teams has been postponed one week to August 7 at Seaman Stadium. The game will begin at 7:05 p.m., according to thee Western Canadian Baseball League’s Website

The Mavericks return home to host the Fort McMurray Giants in a three game home stand Thursday night at Athletic Park. The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
