MEDICINE HAT, AB — The city is once again opening up applications for the Downtown Development Incentive Program.
The program, which provides incentives to downtown property owners for redevelopment, will begin taking applications on March 19 at 9 a.m.
This year, $200,000 in total funding is available, and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. A cap of $50,000 is in place for businesses that apply.
Financial assistance is available for commercial development (up to $25,000 available), multifamily development (up to $25,000 available), live/work residential development (up to $5,000 available), architectural/visual enhancements (up to $5,000 available) and environmental site assessment and remedial/risk management (up to $20,000 available).
