VEGREVILLE, AB – A 27-year-old man in Alberta is facing charges after the recent discovery of prohibited guns and possibly homemade explosive devices in a backpack.
R-C-M-P say Mounties in Vegreville had to deal with hand-built materials with an unknown level of volatility.
Police say they were alerted to the situation after residents complained about videos being posted online, but there’s no evidence the accused was planning anything specific.
Alexander Bugghins is charged with possession of explosives, careless use of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm.
