Bandits start BCHL Finals with a pair of games in Brooks on Friday and Saturday
The British Columbia Hockey League finals start Friday night in Brooks, with the Bandits looking to repeat as league champions.
They will face the Nanaimo Clippers for a chance to hoist the Rogers BCHL Cup.
This is the first meeting between the two teams in the BCHL. They previously met in the round-robin at the Western Canada Cup hosted by Nanaimo in 2013. The Clippers won that game 7-2.
Bandits’ defenceman Dane Sorensen will be back after serving a two-game suspension for a kneeing penalty in game three of the Interior Conference Finals series against the Cranbrook Bucks.
