Bags coming to liquor stores to raise awareness about impaired driving
REDCLIFF, AB, — Students in Redcliff were rewarded for doing their part to raise awareness of the consequences of impaired driving.
During the month, RCMP have been running the Remember Who’s Out There campaign, a colouring contest where students across Alberta draw and colour paper bags, which will then be distributed to liquor stores.
The bags have messages against drinking and driving, telling people about what could happen if you get behind the wheel. They also list alternatives to drinking and driving, such as calling a cab or arranging a ride home.
