Sogaard shines in Tigers’ second win of the season in Spokane
SPOKANE, WA – It looked like another late game comeback would doom Medicine Hat on Friday night, but the Tigers were finally able to snap a five-game losing skid in a shootout.
Josh Williams scored the only goal of the shootout on Friday, downing the Spokane Chiefs 3-2 to earn their second victory of the season.
Posting one of their best nights on the power play to begin the season, Ryan Chyzowski opened the scoring 3:19 into the game with a laser beam top shelf to beat Bailey Brkin.
Late in the period however, Spokane winger Ethan McIndoe was able to solve Tigers netminder Mads Sogaard and tie up the contest at 1-1 heading to the intermission.
