Medicine Hat company drawing in clients with witty signage

Medicine Hat Sign Works is getting attention on social media for its humourous anecdotes and quotes put on outdoor signage.

Josh Buscholl from Sign Works said that the signs were an idea that the original owner had to help stand out and create a conversation with clients.

Buscholl said it’s hard to pick out what his favourite quote has been, but that the signs have started to attract a small following.

“It definitely helps bringing up a conversation,” Buscholl said.

“I know the old owner was telling me that he was having people come up to him in Mexico and bringing it up,” he said.

“It definitely has a lot of reach. Lots of people are liking that and definitely remember it and remember us.”

Buscholl said that he’s planning on keeping the tradition going after the owner gifted him over one thousand different quotes and anecdotes when he took over the business last July.
