Ottawa Redblacks to re-evaulate starter Trevor Harris following injury
OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks will re-evaluate Trevor Harris on Friday after the quarterback was injured in the team’s opening CFL pre-season game.
The 33-year-old Harris left in the first quarter of Ottawa’s 27-7 win over the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday night. He suffered a lower leg injury, his left knee appearing to buckle after being hit by Alouettes linebacker Chris Ackie.
Harris was in obvious pain afterwards as he limped off the field with the assistance of medical staff. A visibly frustrated Harris went directly to the locker-room.
Harris didn’t return to action, finishing 3-for-5 passing for 34 yards and one interception. He was replaced by Dominique Davis.
