Valk pulls into lead entering final round of Victoria Day Classic
MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s going to be a sprint to the finish at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club entering the final round of the 2018 Victoria Day Classic Tournament.
Sunday was moving day at the tournament, with the final foursomes being determined in the three divisions hunting for the open championship.
Mike Valk led the charge in the men’s division on Sunday, as he was the only golfer to shoot under par to post a 71 for the second consecutive day.
That’s moved the 2016 MHGCC men’s champion into first place, with Dillon Batsel dropping one shot back to second at one under par after firing a 74.
