No injuries following fire in Tower Estates

MEDICINE HAT, AB —Medicine Hat firefighters were kept busy following a structure fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters extinguished a fire in a home on Cornell Crescent in Tower Estates in the morning.

According to Deputy fire Chief Lance Purcell, the call came in from a passerby at approximately 7:50 a.m. All three fire stations responded, says Purcell, who added the fire was brought under control quickly.

The owner of the home was not home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries.
