Nassen nets winner, Hollett hurt in Tigers OT win over Royals
MEDICINE HAT, AB – It took 26 games for Medicine Hat Tigers defenceman Linus Nassen to score his first career WHL goal, and it came at the perfect time on Friday night.
The Tigers welcomed the powerhouse Victoria Royals to the Canalta Centre on Friday, trying to get off their first three-game losing streak of the season.
Victoria found the scoresheet during four-on-four action just over six minutes into the game, as Chaz Reddekopp netted his fourth of the season to put the Royals ahead.
Just past the midway mark of the first, Victoria doubled their lead on just their fourth shot of the game thanks to a Tyler Soy marker with 7:46 left in the frame.
