Veiner Centre construction progressing to interior work
MEDICINE HAT, AB — Construction to expand the Veiner Centre remains on time, six months after the project broke ground.
“That building is coming along,” said Scott Woodside, project manager with the City of Medicine Hat. “We’ve almost got the building closed in.
“We’ve started the interior steel studs, and we’re continuing on with all of the interior works, such as HVAC, sprinklers and electrical and everything that comes along with the building that makes it run.”
The construction at the former site of the Veiner Centre, which was rendered unusable since the 2013 floods, has been ongoing since the summer. The $9.6 million project broke ground in May, with construction beginning soon after.
