MEDICINE HAT, AB — Henry Rybinski is quickly gaining the attention of the Tigers coaching staff following a strong performance in his first two exhibition games.

With his sights set on becoming a permanent addition to the club’s lineup, the 16 year old product of Vancouver has collected a trio of assists, along with a +1 rating. All three helpers came in the Tigers 4-2 victory in Lethbridge to open preseason play last Friday.

He’s faster and smoother on the ice, and possesses a more mature hockey sense compared to his first experience in a Tigers uniform during last year’s training camp.

Rybinski credits a hard summer of training with Scott Hebert, who runs Excel Fitness in Vancouver, for his immediate impact.

CHAT TV Sports talked with the young winger to hear his take on his performance over the two games, along with more details on his hardcore training regime during the off-season.
