Vikings run over Mustangs in first game of season

AIRDRIE, AB — A dominating start to the high school football season as the Crescent Heights Vikings demolished the Tier 2 George McDougall Mustangs 41-0 on Friday night.
Quarterback Connor Neufeld threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one of his own, connecting 11/20 through the game for 190 yards. Connor Stock and Creed Willette also took home TD’s in the exhibition contest. Willette rushed a game-high 136 yards.
Receiver Carter Bray lead the team with three receptions and 81 yards.
