Albertans will be able to buy craft beers and spirits at approved farmers’ markets in the province later this month.
Finance Minister Joe Ceci made the announcement yesterday and says it’s another way his government is cutting red tape and eliminating unnecessary regulatory burdens.
The policy will come into effect on August 15th.
Cottage wineries are already able to sell at many farmers markets.
