Hockey Alberta merger could spell the end of SEAC Tigers
MEDICINE HAT, AB — A decision from Hockey Alberta on Wednesday could spell the end of elite hockey development in Medicine Hat.
Hockey Alberta is meeting in Taber to determine whether or not to keep the Southeast Athletic Club (SEAC) Tigers operating on its own, or eliminate them from play completely.
The organization is proposing merging the SEAC Tigers with Lethbridge Minor Hockey. The two organizations each have a midget AAA team, a midget 15 team and a bantam AAA team.
