Trial for Bow Island RCMP officer charged with sexual assault moved to December

Constable Elliott Teed was charged with sexual assault and two counts of breach of trust in connection with a traffic stop on Feb. 12, 2015 in Bow Island. The trial was scheduled to get underway today, but has been rescheduled to December.
A specific date for the trial has not been finalized, but it is scheduled to last five days.
It is alleged the officer touched a woman, who cannot be identified due to a publication ban, in a sexual manner while conducting a physical search during the stop.
