1959 ~ 2021

The family of Richard Evan Vas announce his passing at the Cardston Health Centre on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his three children, Kristina, Steven and Allison Vas; four sisters, Deborah Anne, Shirley Kaye, Jackie Lee and Gerri Lynn and a wealth of nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Jr. and Clara Marie Vas as well as his brother, Anthony ‘Tony’ Vas. Richard was raised on a farm located east of Wrentham, AB. He worked as a mechanic and was proud of his Red Seal Mechanic’s licence. Richard was a musical genius and began playing instruments at the age of four years old. His evenings and weekends were spent on stage performing with many different bands. A private time of remembrance will be held. A private time of remembrance will be held.
