How do you sum up a man’s life? Well…a man’s life is the sum of his experiences. In Bob’s younger days, he was a Saskatchewan farm boy, he worked for the CPR, went to university, became a radiological technician, and traveled and worked in the farthest regions of Canada on the TB League. He met and married his wife Debbie of 49 years, raised a remarkable young man, Richard (deceased), set up Radiology Departments, and managed two Radiology Departments in Saskatchewan. Robert moved to Medicine Hat with Debbie and worked for the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital until his retirement. He then worked security at the airport through the Core of Commissionaires. Bob’s true love was his horse, Lady. Deb came a close second. He had a gift with horses and found a few that needed that special understanding. These horses lived a life of ease on the acreage they owned. He often said he had a wonderful life despite the ailments that plagued him in later years. I guess that is all we can hope for. So now, we say a fond farewell; his life is done. Think kindly of him with happy memories. God bless you all. Please join us for a Come and Go Celebration of Bob’s life that will be held at Saamis Creekside Centre, 11 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
