Bernie Kinch
Bernie Kinch is a retired teacher with 34 years in the classroom behind him, the last 27 spent with the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education.
Kinch says he believes the MHCBE exists to serve and provide the best education for the children and that the school district needs to strive for more openness in all facets of its operation.
He also says the division needs to try to create more collaboration, co-operation, communication and catholicity within and among all stakeholders.
Kinch is married to Bernadette and is the father of three boys, each of whom graduated from Monsignor McCoy High School. He is also a grandfather of three, one of which attends a local Catholic school.
