Alan Rose has a background in Chemical/Oil and Gas.

At 47, Rose decided he was not enjoying life and has spent the last 14 years travelling the world and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He also had a part-time position instructing at the Medicine Hat College.

Rose is running because he believes the City does not have a plan for the future.

He wants to bring back the Medicine Hat advantage, grow and promote the city and improve transparency and accountability.
