Annoyed with all of the spelling and spellchecker errors that I see in professional publications. Your spellchecker is not always correct and quite often misses words that are the wrong word entirely.  It’s not just the local publications that I am after but several widely distributed papers as well. The ones that really bother me are when someone can’t take the time to enter the correctly spelled name into the obituaries and their editor doesn’t catch it. That is disrespectful to the families.

Why own or rent a place with yard and lawn if you don’t want to control your weeds or maintain your yard?

That more and more adult-only eating establishments are becoming family friendly. Where can you go for good food at good prices without having screaming crying kids at the next table? I don’t drink; I just want to enjoy my meal in peace.

How is it billionaire that owns/runs oil/gas companies knows to diversify AB and an Ottawarian doesn’t?

To all those residents of the Primrose area, it was ok to build there when it was going to be the new Viener Center. Well now it’s approved and just a matter of what will be built in the area. The area is “NOT A PARK”, it is a green space.

I am disgusted to see so many Canadians agreeing with the laws being made in the US regarding abortion. I always hope we are better than that but clearly, some people are not. Even a local radio host was tweeting his anti-abortion stance. Women have the right to decide what happens with their bodies…not lawmakers or the local media spouting their anti-abortion agenda opinions on social media.

Just did my yard spring clean-up; the cigarette butts that people throw on other people’s property is ridiculous.  Very inconsiderate they are.

Would like to know if first time people make below minimum wage will include all businesses such as oil/gas or plants where a parent works? In other words, a parent gets their kid a job? How will these people make money for schooling/insurance?

Impressed that our previous premier so far has stuck around and did not go running like a mad dog with her tail between her legs.

Parents, are you aware that your grad you’re so proud of is eating live goldfish and doing illegal things on a grad list to be famous on Instagram? I get grad is supposed to be their most memorable year, but do you want it to be the year they get a criminal record or get sent to the hospital for eating a treated goldfish from a store? I’ve watched groups of kids in parking lots eating live fish and forcing themselves to puke it up. I fear grad when my child grows up…

To the person who thinks that there is no hope of twinning highway 3 due to the change in gov’t, we have a good minister there now. He’s been there before but with a lame duck premier. The new premier is no lame duck and the new MoT will not ignore people. Send your correspondence now.
