The 101st edition of the Memorial Cup opens Friday with the host Halifax Mooseheads facing the Western Hockey League champion Prince Albert Raiders.
The Ontario Hockey League champion Guelph Storm will play the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Saturday.
