One man dead following collision near Bassano

HUSSAR, AB – Around 11:30 last night, Bassano RCMP were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Range Road 194 and Township Road 231A near Hussar.
A truck with four people was travelling southbound on Range Road 194, when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.
As a result of the collision, the vehicle rolled and the lone male driver (34) was pronounced dead at the scene.
The four occupants of the truck did not sustain any injuries.
