MEDICINE HAT, AB — Most sports comebacks involve a recovery, followed by the return to glory.

But Becks Dudley’s comeback is far from typical.

She was 15-years-old when she ran away from home, ending what was a promising career as one of Canada’s best squash players.

Her passion for the sport was lost, and her life was in jeopardy.

16 years later, after overcoming serious addictions to alcohol and drugs, the chance to relive a childhood dream inspired her to battle back.
