Broesky, Team Alberta Green to play for bronze at Alberta Cup

RED DEER, AB – An emphatic victory for Medicine Hat’s Tyler Broesky and Team Alberta Green at the 2019 Alberta Cup on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to book a spot in the gold medal game.

Alberta Green ran over Team Alberta Yellow in its final round-robin game 8-3, however they wound up third in the tournament standings with a 3-1-0 record.

Broesky, a forward with the SEAC Bantam AAA Tigers, assisted on Ryan Nolan’s second period goal to make it a 7-0 game for Alberta Green.

While Broesky and his squad finished tied with Team Alberta Black with a 3-1-0 record, they lost the tie-breaker with their lone loss coming Friday against Alberta Black.

Through four games, Broesky is tied for fourth in team scoring with one goal and four points.
