All city services now on Alberta One-Call

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat residents now have an additional resource to ensure they don’t damage any lines during renovation work.

According to a news release from the City of Medicine Hat, all line locates in Medicine Hat are now available through Alberta One-Call. The service provides line locates across the province, which will ensure all city services are notified, including gas, electricity, water, sewer and natural gas. The city’s Environmental Utilities department has also joined the service starting on April 22, allowing all city departments to be listed on the service.

The city is also reminding residents they should call before they dig to keep people, homes and properties safe.

Alberta One Call requests can be made online or by calling 1-800-242-3447. Three full working days notice is required for a request.
