MEDICINE HAT, AB — United Conservative Party leader Jason Kenney says if he elected, his party will put the law into effect allowing Alberta to “turn off the taps” to British Columbia.

Kenney made the announcement during a campaign stop in Medicine Hat Monday afternoon.

He says, if the party is elected on April 16, within the first hour of power, the party will hold a cabinet meeting to put Bill 12 into law. The law would allow the provincial government to cut oil shipments to British Columbia.
