Medicine Hat bowler wins gold at Special Olympics World Games

ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — A Medicine Hat bowler has won gold at the Special Olympics World Games.
Mitchell MacDonald, competing in 10-pin bowling, won gold medals in the singles and doubles category at the games last week. In the singles category, held Sunday, he finished with a score of 415, ahead of Great Britain’s Michael Stevenson.
MacDonald also claimed a gold medal in doubles with Patrick Reid of Victoria Tuesday morning.
