MEDICINE HAT, AB — Elijah Brown is good to go.

The 19-year-old centerman for the Medicine Hat Tigers has been cleared for contact, and will dress in Wednesday night’s pivotal match against the Red Deer Rebels.

This marks the first time since late-December the Tigers have all forwards healthy and able to play.

Brown was hurt in practice on Feb. 28, one day before the Tigers took a trip to Edmonton amidst a season-long seven-game losing streak.

In an injury-hampered 46-games this season, Brown has 11 goals and 25 points. Four of his goals have come on the powerplay, and two are credited as game-winners.

The Tabbies have gone 2-2-1-0 without Brown, and are coming off a crucial victory over Brandon to give them breathing room in the Eastern Conference wild-card race.

There’s a chance Medicine Hat can officially clinch a playoff spot on Wednesday. A win over the Rebels combined with a loss by the Brandon Wheat Kings of any kind would solidify the Tigers place in the post-season.
