AAA Tigers face elimination hosting Rebels

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The SEAC AAA Bantam Tigers have their backs against the wall as they play host to the Red Deer Rebels at the Hockey Hounds Recreation Centre on Tuesday night.

Trailing their best-of-three Ram South Division Final 1-0, the young crew must win to keep their season alive.

Red Deer is coming off a 3-1 victory over SEAC to open the series last weekend.

Game 1 also saw Tigers defenceman Tyler Miller take a five minute major for boarding, which will rule him out of Tuesday’s contest as he serves a suspension.

It’s the first time the Tigers are trailing in a series these playoffs, having swept the Okotoks Oilers in the opening round last week. A victory over the Rebels would force a do-or-die Game 3 for both teams on Wednesday in Red Deer.
