MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes re-signed veteran Canadian offensive lineman Luc Brodeur-Jourdain to a one-year deal Friday.

The six-foot-two, 309-pound Brodeur-Jourdain enters his 12th season with Montreal after being the last player taken in the 2008 CFL draft. The native of Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., appeared in 13 games last season, starting three.

Brodeur-Jourdain has started 126 of the 167 games he’s play with Montreal, helping the team win the Grey Cup in 2009-10.

“We are extremely happy that Luc will return with the Alouettes in 2019. His experience and knowledge of the game are important assets for our young players.” Alouettes GM Kavis Reed said in a statement. “We know we can expect Luc to remain an example for his teammates, whether it’s on or off the field.”
