AHS lifts boil water advisory in Oyen

OYEN, AB — The Town of Oyen is no longer under a boil water advisory.

The advisory was put in place by Alberta Health Services on Tuesday due to issues with the town’s water system. It was officially lifted Friday afternoon, as satisfactory water quality has been returned to the town, according to AHS.

Residents with health concerns are able to call Health Link at 811 to speak with a registered nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
