I would be a happy hatter if they video taped everyone using the safe injection site for 3 months and then picked them all up and gave them proper treatment.

Just want to say that the staff at the Medicine Hat Hospital in the Labour and Delivery, and Maternity unit are amazing, and we are so lucky to have such amazing doctors and nurses serving our community! They all were so helpful, and full of knowledge about how to care for me, and my new baby. From me and my newborn son, THANK YOU for all you do!!

I agree with the complaint about Bylaw.   You are required to shovel your walk with 24hours after it stops snowing. You are required to return your garbage bins rolled back to property within same time period.  So, when it snowed during the week or garbage pickup was during the week and neither are done by Sunday, there is no excuse.  Some never roll the bins back unless the wind caused it to tip over.

Why are people in this city so horrendously offended by garbage bins anyways? Rolled out or not, who cares? This is the most first world problem ever and it makes me laugh.

Current government has stood up to the oil patch & are making them to finish off the abandoned wells instead of them walking away & leaving it to the taxpayers. You had your pockets filled & now it’s time you finish your responsibility.

Wonder if we will see conservatives waste voters millions of dollars in donations money on advertising in hockey playoffs/super bowl ads again this year?

Regarding this safe consumption site – if it MUST be in the site that has been chosen, without proper consultation with residents and business owners and with AHS pushing it through in a very shady way, then at the very least, there should be better hours for it. It should NOT be open before the surrounding businesses open up and it should close at the same time; 6:00 would be more appropriate than midnight. There should be absolutely NO patio for these addicts to sit around and enjoy their addiction and there should absolutely be NO open hours for this site after dark. This only encourages the guaranteed vehicle and personal crime that will absolutely happen without a doubt. The police can’t be there when they need to be, and the staff can’t help outside of the center. Hopefully Mr. Martin is able to get some action and resolution on the positive side for everyone involved. They should not be at the mercy of drug addicts who should be “safe consuming” at the hospital or police station. Why we are encouraging illegal activity is beyond comprehension!!

That Alberta inherited an Ottawa bully from the opposition. We as a young family province do not appreciate a single white man barking orders because he says so. Did your last PC premier call an election within the 4-year mandate?  No, he called an early election at 3. Wasted millions on his Oopsie. Karma, I guess.

If the unemployed can tell us fellow Albertan’s why there are posted 200000 jobs available in Canada. 20000 available in Alberta.  They are of all sorts of jobs posted on the indeed website updated hourly.
