RCMP responding to serious collision on Highway 41

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB — Redcliff RCMP are currently on the scene of a two vehicle collision in Cypress County.

The collision involved a semi truck and a sedan earlier this afternoon on Highway 41 North near Township Road 132.

The highway is closed in both directions between Township Road 132 and Township Road 150.

It’s not yet clear how many people are involved, or the extent of any injuries, but RCMP say they will be at the scene for several hours.

Motorists will need to detour around the area while the investigation into the collision is ongoing. Traffic at both Township Road 132 and Township Road 150 are being rerouted to Range Road 43.
