ALERT arrest two in Lethbridge, seized nearly $12,000 worth of drugs

LETHBRIDGE, AB — The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team has arrested two people in Lethbridge on alleged drug trafficking charges.

The organized crime and gang team, with assistance from the Lethbridge Police Service, executed a search warrant on December 6 in the Blackwolf neighbourhood.

Police seized 81 grams of cocaine and 37.6 grams of crack cocaine, with a combined estimated street value of $11,680.

Police also seized close to $3,500 in cash proceeds and two vehicles.

A man and a woman are facing multiple charges.

Peter Ntignee, 25, is charged with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime.

Stevie Campbell, 23 , is facing four charges of trafficking a controlled substance, and one count each of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

Police say the investigation began in August.
