Daylight saving time ends Sunday

MEDICINE HAT, AB — It’s time to switch your clocks back for another year.

Daylight saving time is scheduled to end at 2 a.m. on Sunday, giving people an extra hour of sleep.

Residents are reminded when setting their clocks back to check their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors while they’re moving their clocks back to ensure they’re still working.

Daylight saving time will return on March 10, 2019.
