MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have revealed they and forward Henrik Rybinski have mutually agreed to pursue a trade.

The news was revealed in a press release from the team Thursday morning.

“In recent discussions, Henry, though his agent and his family, let us know that they were looking for increased ice time and a top two centreman role for Henry on our team,” stated Tigers General Manager and Head Coach Shaun Clouston in a news release. “With our Team Captain James Hamblin and Assistant Captain Ryan Chyzowski currently our top two centremen, we are not able or willing to meet that request. We believe it is in the best interest of both parties to look for an opportunity for Henry with another team.”
